Seki Saba is a pendant ceiling light completely handcrafted using reclaimed oak staves, recycled from discarded French wine barrels and reinvented into this elegant, unique light fixture. Saba is ideal as kitchen island light or over a dining area.
Seki Saba is a custom variation of our original Saba light, designed to accommodate Edison style bulbs.
Seki Saba's oak stave is stained in your selected color on the outside, while the inside still shows the rich reddish color left by the wine previously held in the barrel, creating a beautiful two tones effect. The stunning redness given by the wine is enhanced when the piece is lit. Please note that your color selection applies only to the upper side of the stave; the underside will remain in the natural red wine stained color. The one featured in main photo is golden oak color. The staves’ ends are smoothened to add softness to the silhouette, but still show the original groove of each barrel’s plank. Portions of the actual barrel's metal hoop embellish the stave's ends. The metal is left in its original color. The chrome hardware elements perfectly complement the look of this piece.
Seki Saba comes complete of a matching canopy, custom crafted to match the light fixture, using an oak disk and a small portion of a wine barrel stave, finished in the same color as the fixture.
This light fixture comes with 4 LED Edison style bulbs, 40W each (equivalent), included in your purchase.
We always recommend to rely on professional installation for any hardwired fixture.
Seki Saba's measurements are approximately 42”x 4”.
It comes with about 3' wire which may be shortened as needed.
