In our effort to recycle our material to the very last bit, we have created this fun key chain, using morsels of solid white oak from reclaimed French wine barrel tops and staves.
One side is of a natural golden oak color, while the other is stained with the red wine previously held in the barrels.
It’s complete of silver plated key chains with swivel connectors.
All of our finely handcrafted items are made from oak wine barrel staves from France.
Each “Stavlet” is a segment of a barrel stave’s end.
The solid wood of an oak wine barrel has a very distinctive element of charm that is conveyed in every object we create.
Every individual barrel carries the signs of its unique history in every stave.
Occasional dents and natural imperfections are not unusual and they add to the uniqueness of every item, as they are part of the nature of this charming material.
Each one is individually handcrafted sanded back to its original wood and creatively reinvented.
