Our extra large platter turns into a magnificent centerpiece and its versatility allows you to either integrate it in your decor in a number of creative ways -displaying flowers, crystals, candles, beads, wedding favors, cards, etc- or to use it as an original, stunning serving tray. Our spectacular Cream Caramel makes a very elegant and original gift idea as well.
While Cream Caramel’s top is still slightly stained by the wine previously held in the barrel, the rest is finished with a natural oak color to preserve and to show the natural features and beautiful grain of the aged oak. Cream Caramel is complete of two solid brass handles, in antique brass color, for easy handling. Four small wooden legs assure stability for this large piece.
Cream Caramel dimensions are about 28" (w/o the handles) X 10 1/2” and about 2” high.
All of our finely handcrafted items are made from reclaimed oak wine barrel staves from France. The solid wood of an oak wine barrel has a very distinctive element of charm that is conveyed into every object we create. The natural arch of a barrel stave confers striking finesse to the silhouette of each of our designs. Every individual barrel carries the signs of its unique history in every stave.
