This amazingly crafted ornamental piece of home décor has been skillfully created by joining together oak wine barrel staves, recycled from discarded French barrels and reinvented into this ingenious and quite exceptional one of a kind decorative piece.
All of our creations are entirely made of recycled white oak from discarded French wine barrels.
The natural curve of the barrel stave has been cleverly taken an advantage of in order to resemble the features of the well-recognized character Pinocchio, while the barrel’s bung has been used for the long nose and the bungholes for its eyes and mouth. The eyebrows are mobile and can assume any expression desired; a handful of nails completes
Pinot Kio’s face of a few freckles.
Pinot Kio is stained with a warm golden oak color for the face and dark mahogany for hair, nose and eyebrows, while the underside still retains the rich color left by the wine previously held in the barrel.
