The Windmill is our four legs version of the classical bistro table; it has the smart drop leaf feature that gives you the possibility to customize the table’s size to your likings and change it accordingly to your necessity.
The Windmill is entirely made with reclaimed solid oak from discarded wine barrels, using the barrel staves for the legs and its actual head as the top, showing the inner side stained with the red wine previously contained in the barrel and complemented with a rich cherry chocolate color, while the rest is finished with a warm mahogany color (other colors available on request to match any pre-existing furniture)
On some pieces it’s still possible to see the branded trademark on the underside of the top with the date and name of the French or German cooperage; the one featured in our photos in particular shows the branding by the traditional German cooperage of renowned Shanz from Mossingen, 1995.
This exquisite, and space saving, table will make a lovely addition to your home with a very polished and refined appearance that combines a tad of rustic flavor with a more contemporary sophistication, suitable for a wide range of interior décor styles.
The centre section of the top is fixed while the two side wings are made mobile and supported by brass hinges. The drop leaf sections of the table open and fold quickly and easily, so you can change the size of your table with one swift shift. When lowered, the wings will show the different color of the outer side of the barrel’s head, creating a very interesting two shades effect.
Unlike any other round table, it will allow you to easily and comfortably place it against a wall just by dropping one wing, use it as an inconspicuous and compact end table once both of the sides are down, or enjoy it in its entire splendor and spacious capacity when the leaves are locked in the full size position.
The single pedestal it’s formed by the four legs bolted together and combined in an original arrangement that not only enhances the appeal of the piece, but it also allows plenty of room to be comfortably seated at the table.
The solid wood of an oak wine barrel has a very distinctive element of charm that is conveyed into every object we create.
Every individual barrel carries the signs of its unique history in every stave.
As no barrel band is the same, each piece might show natural imperfections, slight variations in color, grain & dimensions, all adding to the uniqueness of every item. Each one is individually handcrafted sanded back to its original wood and creatively reinvented.

With one leaf down the table measures about 19 1/2” (including space taken by folded wing, actual surface is 1 1/4” less)
With both leaves down the table measures about 15 1/4” (including space taken by folded wing, actual surface is about 12 3/4)
Height is about 27”
(Each barrel stave is different so the size is APPROXIMATE and might slightly vary)
