This is our stunning Wish Box; its two practical slots are perfect to collect wedding wish cards and money cards. This gorgeous chest can also be used to stylishly store treasures and keepsakes; our Wish Box will look beautiful when displayed and will easily become a family heirloom to be cherished for years to come.
Every box is made of solid white oak, individually handmade and a one of a kind piece; our boxes offer an artisan and high-end alternative to the mass produced wish boxes and wooden chests on the market.
As the rest of our creations, The Wish Box is entirely made with recycled solid oak reclaimed from discarded French wine barrels; every stave is individually sanded back to its original wood and creatively reinvented.
The customizations:
The Wish Box’s top is made with wine barrel staves that define its velvety and attractive silhouette; it closes with a heavy-duty antique brass neat latch and it’s complete of brass hinges for easy opening.
On both sides of the latch an inconspicuous slot allows the cards to be discreetly and easily dropped into the box. We would be able to place longer slots on the sides of the box if preferred, please contact us for pictures of an example of such customization.
The box featured in our listing is stained with a rich cherry chocolate color; mahogany and golden oak colors are also available as alternative options for the outside of the box (for your reference: last photo of a box with name plate is in mahogany color); the inside of every box it’s stained with the wine previously contained in the barrel and will remain as featured.
As for the piece featured in our listing, we offer the option of adding a very unique element of personalization with a custom hand painted décor (see one example in the pics) either on the underside of the lid or on the outside of the box; please contact us for details and additional photos of previous works. This personalization adds $40 to the item’s price.
We also offer the possibility of adding a brass name plate w/ engraved names and date at additional costs (about $55), see an example of it in the last photo.
Also available on request the use of a latch with a mini lock to secure the box. Contact us for details on the cost and photo of the latch & lock available.
