Our small Dome stool is entirely made of recycled oak wood from French wine barrels.
Although it was conceived as a footstool for classical guitar players, our costumers have often used it as a child's seat, meditation stool or to cleverly place it under the feet when seated at the computer for an extended period of time, in order to guarantee better posture and support.
Due to its shape this piece is NOT suitable as a step stool (see ‘The Temple’ instead).
We find that it can also be easily integrated in any room of the house as a distinctive piece of home decor.
The top and the sides are finished with a rich ‘golden oak’ color, where the underside, naturally stained with the red wine previously held in the barrel it’s complemented with a beautiful ‘cherry chocolate’ finish.
The temple measures are 13"X 6” (for the top) and about 7” high
(Each barrel stave is different so the size is approximate)

The solid wood of an oak wine barrel has a very distinctive element of charm that is conveyed into every object we create.
Every individual barrel carries the signs of its unique history in every stave.
As no one barrel band is the same, each piece might show natural imperfections, slight variations in color, grain & dimensions, all adding to the uniqueness of every item.
Each one is individually handcrafted sanded back to its original wood and creatively reinvented.
By using the natural arch of a barrel stave we are able to create this particularly attractive and innovative silhouette.
